Sunday quotes..... Partly sunny...much warmer
My Mom always said this one "as scarce as hen's
teeth" .
Well these last three weeks that fits the description of the sun in
these hills. It was so nice to see it today but ohhhhhhhhhhh the mud! Not
to make a pun but hen's eggs have been that scarce this winter at my house. I
looked up the origin of this expression and the author believes it dates to
colonial times, but the earliest he could find reference in a book was
1862. Is it one that was used in your house???
