Home is Where the Heart is
Well with much trepidation we took Leslie and Liberty on their
furthest journey yet.
Fifteen (not as the crow, er Pigeon flies) miles away and an overnight
stay. They were released at 7:58 a.m. and left together for the flight
home.
Leslie arrived home at 9:50 and Liberty came in at 10:20, whew
was I relieved!
I didn't doubt their ability to find their loft but
know how many hunters and hawks and power lines are in between.
Here's a pic of Liberty waiting to join his friends and relations and to
share details of his trip.
You should have heard the excitement in the loft when they returned!
You can read more about our "Pigeon Project" and their other adventures HERE
That's so cool! And yes, I bet you were relieved. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad they both made it back home :)
