Henny-penny

Meet our trusty Henny-Penny.

The broodiest banty on the farm!
She hatched 17 full sized eggs one year, traveled to both my daughters farm and a friends farm to successfully hatch and raise chicks for them, sat on three nests in one year, and easily adopted these three duck eggs, sat the extra days required to hatch duck eggs, and patiently waited for the third egg to hatch, even after these first two were out looking around at the world. She stayed with them and continued to 'mother' them even after they had grown to 'tower' above her small stature.

You can vote for Henny-Penny in the Tractor supply 'Flaunt your flock'
contest going on till April 25th. by clicking on this link.
