Rushing the Seasons..... Cloudy..... 35*

I know better than to rush the seasons, but in the last 2 days I've heard 2 flocks of geese heading North, and my 2 hens that are left after Walter made
his rounds this winter, have each laid their first egg. AND the pigeons, 3 so far, are building their nests and laying. Could Spring be far away?

Either they know something we don't OR they are in for a big surprise!

  1. Did Phil see his shadow today or not? Love that ground hog prediction.

    1. Not sure about the ground hog prediction, but it was sunny here, so I'm pretty sure I saw a pigeon shadow or two ;)

  2. I'm wondering the same thing. We have turtle Doves coming in and we usually don't see or hear them till spring. I've been watching for wild ducks to come swimming down my creek at the back of my house. I've already seen the Long Neck Gray Cranes. They must all know something we don't.
